November 10th-11th you can play Blitz tournament, Simul and Lesson with Formal World Blitz Chess Champion Maxime Vachier-Lagrave IN PERSON!
Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, is a French grandmaster with a peak rating of 2819, he is the seventh-highest rated player in history. A chess prodigy, MVL earned the title of grandmaster in 2005 at age 14. In 2007, he won the French Chess Championship, and in 2009, won the World Junior Chess Championship and the Biel Grandmaster Tournament. He repeated as French Chess Champion in 2011 and 2012 and as the winner of the Biel Grandmaster Tournament in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He won the Sinquefield Cup in 2017 and 2021 and competed in the Candidates Tournament 2020-21, placing second.

Details:
- November 10th, 4:00-5:30pm – Beginner/Intermediate chess lesson with MVL, entry fee $49
- November 10th, 5:30-7:00pm – Simul with MVL. entry fee $49
- November 10th, 7:00-8:30pm – Advanced chess lesson with MVL. entry fee $49
- November 11th, 9:00-10:30am – Unrated Blitz tournament with MVL, entry fee $49
- November 11th, 10:30-11:30am – Chess lesson for All Levels with MVL and lunch, entry fee $30 Participants can eat lunch and listen to the lesson. Pizza can be provided for additional $5.
- November 11th, 11:30-1:00pm – Simul with MVL, entry fee $49
DIG Chess will provide chess sets and chess clocks
Blitz Tournament with MVL:
- MVL will be participating in blitz tournament!
- Time control: 3 mins, 2 seconds delay.
- Prizes:
- 1st Place – $100.00
- 2nd Place – $75.00
- 3rd Place – $50.00
