DIG Chess Weston Recreational Team – Fall 2025 Program

The DIG Recreational Chess Team is for all kids below the rating of USCF 700 and are serious about improving their chess skills. The goal is for the recreational team to cross a US Chess rating of 700 and join our DIG Chess Travel Team that competes in national-level tournaments, and players have shown significant improvements in their games. Coach Adrian will be coaching.  The key is for chess players to understand that at this stage in chess development, the students must be having fun and taught patiently so they don’t get turned off from the game. Gradually, the kids learn that losing is a part of growth and build resilience through the game. The best part is, when they start seeing results and their rating starts going up, they know they earned it through hard time.
