Coach Forde Todd
Forde Todd, has been part of the DIG Chess team for over a year, inspiring young players to build confidence, creativity, and focus both on and off the board.
Forde has played chess his entire life and in 2024, he captured the Connecticut State Championship (Under 1400 section). Currently, he is on the Sacred Heart University Chess Team. He brings his own competitive experience into every lesson, using fun, data-driven strategies that make learning chess exciting and help students see real improvement in their game.
Forde coaches the DIG Chess Travel Team based in Weston along with school programs like Jennings Elementary School in Fairfield.
