Class Schedule

  • Players can come to any class during the week within their level. Players can also join other level classes to make up classes if needed. We work with each family to make sure each kid gets all their group and private lessons in each season.
  • If you can’t make it in person, we have the option to join the class via Zoom. Please let Coach Jithu (digcoachjithu@gmail.com) know if you’re joining online.

Description

The DIG Chess Team consists of motivated players who practice weekly and participate in competitive chess tournaments! Every student who has joined our team has significantly improved their rating/chess skills by end of the season. We started the DIG Chess Team back in January of 2022. Since then, more than 100 students have joined our team.

The DIG Elite Chess Team is divided into three groups:

Team Determination: Players with a rating below 500 (Skill level: Beginners) (Ages 5-9)

Team Integrity: Players with a rating between 500 – 1000 (Skill level: Intermediate) (Ages 7-11)

Team Growth: Players with a rating 1000 + (Skill level: Advanced) (Ages 10-18)

Players can be placed in a group outside their normal age if needed.
